Corrosion Inspection Tool: Configuration and Measurements

Traditional frequency-domain tools operate in

the remote-field EC regime; only sensitive to

the total metal thickness.

The corrosion inspection tool measures the EM

field in the three zones; from this complete

information and by using an inversion method,

the thickness of each individual pipe is

obtained.

Transmitter emits continuous wave at multiple

frequencies

Receivers record complex-valued
