Hearing Simulator

A hearing simulator is a device which connects the headphone under test to a microphone in such a way that the working load on the headphone is the same as if it was used on a real ear. Furthermore, the ear simulator should be made in such a way that the signal picked up by the microphone as a function of frequency is the same as the sound pressure in the ear canal at the eardrum.Brüel, P.
