What is C.A.N Communication?

● Controller Area Network

2. Purpose

● Use a memory of the MCU (Main Controller Unit) of each part to distribute the

loads of main control system.

● Reduce the loads of MCU with Distributed Processing System.

● Improve the communication of each MCU and stability of device.

3. Precautions

Please follow the instructions as below.

● For safety reasons, operate the product according to this User Manual.

● Check the conditions of the product (power, Cables) and PC before operating.

● Every operation of the product should be done step by step after the each

previous step is finished. Otherwise, it could cause malfunction.

● Go to next capture stage after finishing cooling time to prevent tube from being

overheated as per voice guidance or message on screen.

● Keep away from water, moisture, corrosive materials, and chemical materials.

● If there is an abnormal movement, turn off the system and then contact your

agent.

Safe Regulation for Radiation Protection

As radiation safety and protection requirements vary from country to country and state to state, it is the responsibility of the operator to ensure that all local and national radiation safety and protection requirements are met.

● When X-ray is exposed, operators must protect themselves from radiation

by using a lead apron or by standing behind a suitable radiation shield.

● When X-ray is exposed, operators must provide the precaution to protect from

radiation by using a lead apron.

● In case of children or pregnant women, consult a doctor before X-ray exposures.

● When X-ray is exposed, operators must stand at least two meters (6feet) from X-

ray source.

● Operators must observe the patient during the exposure time in case of

emergency situation.

● When X-ray is exposed, operators must stop the system in case of any abnormal

movement.

This product could be exploded under the circumstances of being explosive material or liquid.

● LCD Screen : Show guide messages at each step for proper patient position.

● Sensor area : There is a X-ray image Sensor module.

● Tube area : There is a Tube generating X-ray beam.

● LED Lamp : Changed from blue to orange when X-ray is generated.

● Handle frame : Patient can grip for proper position.

● Emergency switch : Press this button in emergency situation.

● Lamp button : Press this button to turn on Laser beam

(The Laser beam will be turned off after 3 minutes)

2. The Composition of software The followings are a brief explanation about the composition of capturing program.

You can not choice patient type on child mode.

⑥ Select capture mode

● Select capture mode among the Normal, Tmj Open, Tmj Close, Sinus, Right, Front, Left.

⑦ Mode Confirm

● Click after choosing capture mode and patient type.

⑧ Open, Save, Exit

● Open image file, Save image file, Close capture program.

⑨ Kvp and mA

● Be able to adjust Kvp value manually (40Kvp~90Kvp)

● Be able to adjust mA value manually (2mA~10mA)

⑩ Lamp

● Turn On / Off lamp for positioning patient.

⑪ Return

● Cancel the present setting.

⑫ Ready

● Click “Ready” after positioning patient.

⑬ Progress bar

● Indicates the progress of capturing image and processing.

The composition could be varied and changed without notice for developing or upgrading capturing program.

3 Chapter 3 Operation

This chapter describes how to operate PaX-P&P for proper usage.

1. Preparations

Check followings before capturing image.

● Turn on the product first and then turn on PC.

● Check whether the product is turned on or not.

● Do not operate the product while the previous step or movement is not

Finished.

● Check whether PC operation is normal or not.

Follow the instruction message on the screen.

2. Positioning patient

To acquire the best image, please comply with followings.

① Ask patient to take off any materials such as glasses, earrings,

necklaces or any accessories.

② Patients should wear lead apron to protect from radiation.

③ Adjust the height of the Chinrest to patient.

④ Position patient on the middle of product.

⑤ While the patient is holding the handles, ask to step

forward so that the patient inclines to the back side.

⑥ Ask patient to bite the bite block after covering with a hygienic bag provided.

⑦ Adjust the Frankfurt beam to patient.

⑧ Adjust the Middle beam to patient.

3. Capturing Image

Registering a New Patient Please do following instructions to register a new patient.

① Turn on the product and PC.

② Run EasyDent V4program and then, Click “Patient” ( ) icon to register a new

patient.

③ Input the information of the patient on the register window as below.

④ Click “Add” to complete the registration of the new patient information.

When capturing a registered patient, do not need to register again.

The procedure of capturing image

Please follow the instructions below for capturing image.

In case of capturing TMJ modes, TMJ close mode will be ready automatically after capturing TMJ Open.

① Turn on PaX-P&P and PC.

② Run EasyDent V4 program and then select patient.

Clic③ k “Panorama” icon to run capturing program.

Operating the system during communication with sensor may cause wrong movement or malfunction.

④ Capturing screen will be displayed after initializing.

⑤ Set the condition of capturing image modes.

-Patient, Patient type, Kvp, mA, Capture mode.

⑥ After setting, click ( ) “Mode Confirm”.

Each mode and condition has the default value of Kvp and mA. If needed, you can change the value of Kvp and mA.

⑦ Position patient (Refer to page 17~20)

Use “Lamp”( ) button to position a patient to the right position. The Lamp will be turned off after 3 minutes automatically.

Please wait until the progress bar is finished.

⑧ Keep pressing Exposure switch.

Please keep pressing Exposure switch until the Progress bar is comple ted. Otherwise, the image capture will be canceled.

⑨ Keep pressing Exposure switch button until the progress bar is finished.

and then, the captured image will be optimized on the screen.

During capturing, there will be “Capture Image Preview” to see the progress of capturing image.

After finishing image capture, there will be the image just captured.

⑩ Click “OK” to save the image after capturing.

Or click “Cancel” to capture again

⑪ Click “OK” to capture same patient again.

Or click “Cancel”.

⑫ Double click the latest thumbnail image to see the image just captured.

⑬ This is Normal Panorama image captured by PaX-P&P.
