Did you know that you can play a significant role in taking the gospel to the ends of the earth without ever having to go on a mission trip? Mrs. Laura Lee Brewer invites all clergy spouses who will be attending the 48th Annual Diocesan Convention to purchase a Bag Lunch and to join her in the Kelly Kranze Room at Trinity Preparatory School on Saturday, January 28th (12:30 p.m.) for lunch, fellowship and a presentation by Mrs. Linda Fox. Linda, who is the wife of The Reverend Loren fox, Rector of Church of Our Savior in Palm Bay, will share about the Dong Team she co-founded at Church of Our Savior in Palm Bay and about the significant force for spiritual good that it is - both in the parish and for overseas missions Convention Meal Order Form included in this issue and available on the website.

Update from Committee on Nominations & Elections:

The Committee on Nominations & Elections has received Nominations for all but one of the offices to be filled by election at the Convention; there remains one slot for a lay person to be nominated to serve as a Deputy to General Convention, 2018. The 79th General Convention will be held in Austin, Texas, July 5 – 13, 2018. To submit the name of a lay person for election as a Deputy (or for another position), please complete and return a Nomination form, included in this issue, and a photograph/ brief (250 words or less) biography to [email protected] by Tuesday, January12th – or sooner - to have that name printed on the ballot and to have the Nominee’s information posted on the website. Convention Deputy Nominees are asked to respond to the following question “What do you see as the most important challenge facing General Convention, 2018?” Nominations for elected offices may also be made from the Convention floor.

Walking the Mourner's Path is a

Christ-centered, Non-denominational Grief Support Program

We believe grieving is not lack of faith

but a natural part of living.

The ministry of Walking the Mourner’s Path is : * Eight spiritually directed small group workshops * Led by trained facilitators and a member of the clergy based in a

faith community Walking the Mourners Path Workshop participants find: * That while their pain is unique they are not alone on their journey * The need to allow Christ to be a part of both the pain and the healing *Tools for moving forward with their life * A way to their honor loved one *Joy A “Walking the Mourner’s Path” program is scheduled for Thursdays, January 5th thru February 23rd at 2:30 p.m. at the All Saints Healing Ministry – Glennon House, Winter Park.
