Mission:“Egypt takes effective and innovative actions to reduce theloss of biodiversity to ensure that by 2030 ecosystemscontinue to provide their services to all Egyptian and alsoensure pressures on biodiversity are reduced; biologicalresources are sustainably used and benefits arising out ofutilization of genetic resources are shared in a fair andequitable manner; biodiversity issues and valuesmainstreamed and appropriate policies are effectivelyimplemented in a participatory approach.”

Traditionalknowledge
HasDirectHealthyimpacts:< Theincreaseindiseasesofhightemperaturesuchas:sunshock,skin
cancerandcataract.< Indirectimpactsincludewatershortage,agriculturalproductivity
shortageleadingtofoodshortageandappearanceofAnemiaandmalnutritiondiseases,inadditiontochangeinwaterandairquality.
< Also,oneoftheindirecthealthyimpactsofclimatechangearediseasesrelatedtoparasitesandpestswhichhightemperaturehelpintheirdissemination.
ClimaticchangeandHealth
• TheSteeringCommitteeoftheEgyptianSystemfortheQualityandSafetyofMedicinalandAromaticPlantsProducts,whichistheconstituted bythedecisionoftheMinisterofIndustryandForeignTradeNo.205of2013.
• TheRegionalStrategyonHealthandEnvironmentandFramework(2017–2030),developedbytheWHORegionalOfficeandWHORegionalCentreforEnvironmentalHealthAction,ArabLeagueandUnitedNationsEnvironmentalProgrammewaspresentedandapprovedbyallArabStates.
• ParticipationofrepresentativefromMinistryofHealththeSteeringcommitteesofmanyprojectssuchasBiosafety,
