    Dearcolleagues,

    We are pleased to invite you to attend the 7th European Congress for

    Integrative Medicine, The Future of Comprehensive Patient Care

    (ECIM), that will be held in Belgrade (Republic of Serbia) on October

    10-11, 2014, joined with the 12th Biennial International Symposium onthe Bi-Digital O-Ring Test and 1st Serbian Congress for Integrative

    Medicine. The aim of the congress is to promote health and develop

    integrated and sustainable treatment for acute and chronic disease.

    The central topics of the Congress are the ecacy of Complementary

    Medicines and practices, their integration with the orthodox medicine

    and the future development of Integrative Medicine. One of the aims of

    ECIM 2014 is the creation of a network between the researchers and

    medical doctors, and both of the ocial and Complementary Medicine,

    to stimulate the scientific exchange and constructive dialogue and

    promote the actual integration of the dierent branches of the medicine.

    Therefore, this Congress oers an important opportunity to approach

    this decisive challenge for the future of the Integrative Medicine. The

    experts and authorities of the integrative and mainstream medicine will

    address the topics of great clinical relevance such as Acupuncture,

    Anthroposophic Medicine, Ayurve da, Psycho-Neuro-Endocrine-Immunol-

    ogy (PNEI), Chronic Pain, Nutraceutical, Food Intolerance, Integrative

    Sport Medicine, Integrative Oncology, Integrative Gastroenterology,

    Integrative Pediatrics, Integrative Rheumatology, Integrative Ob/Gyn,

    Integrated Thermal Medicine, Integrative Dentistry, Holistic Systems,

    Homeopathy, Mind-Body-Medicine, Neural Therapy, Phytotherapy,

    Bi-Digital O-Ring Test, Quantum Medicine, Environmental Medicine,

    Hyperbaric Medicine, Education and clinical practice, Electromagnetic

    radiation and quality of life.

    In the conference program other subjects of great interest are

    included, such as the integration of Complementary Medicine in thehealthcare systems in Europe. This scientific event has the aim to

    develop the basis of a platform on the main guidelines of the clinic and

    research for the future, the possible models of integration and develop-

    ment for Complementary medicine in the European and international

    perspective.

    The Congress will be organized by Serbian Association for Integrative

    Medicine as a member and part of ESIM with strategic support of

    Serbian Medical Society, Serbian Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy

    and Finance, the Local Medical Association, the Regional Health

    Authority and with the patronage of many Serbian and International

    bodies and institutions, Serbian Universities, together with the Charit

    University of Berlin, with National Tourism Organization of Serbia,

    Tourist Organization of Belgrade and valuable assistance from the

    Serbia Convention Bureau.European Congress for Integrative Medicine will be organized on the

    best possible academic and professional level, due to long tradition of

    Belgrade in organizing these kinds of events. In addition, long

    tradition of Traditional and Complementary Medicine in Republic of

    Serbia make Belgrade a great choice for hosting ESIM Congress. The

    Congress Committees will create the scientific program of the Congress

    which will demonstrate the importance of this international congress

    and will provide once again the possibility of collaboration, support

    and exchange of up to date scientific knowledge and projects.

    Furthermore ECIM 2014 in Serbia will help European Society in

    achieving its aim to allow the region scientists to more actively involve

    in work of the association and to discuss latest advances. This will

    enable ESIM to establish its presence strongly in this part of Europe,

    and to widen personal contacts for future scientific cooperation and

    networking.

    The Congress will be accredited with CME credit points.

    The conference will allow your Association/Federation to promote

    your activities through various workshops, stands etc.
