EDITING CONTENTS PICTURES

Here’s my original image that I captured of my model who is going to be featured on my contents page.. As you can see, I need to crop and enhance the model’s features to make the picture look more

professional and eye-catching.

PROGRESS OF EDITING

On www.picmonkey.com, I tired out different edits but I started off by

increasing the brightness and contrast to make her features

stand out more. This also resulted in the picture looking a bit more

lively rather than dull. I also cropped the chair to make the

model center of attention which yet again highlights that the picture is

focusing on her. I used the edit ‘Orton’, ‘Cross Process’ and ‘Dusk’

which made the whole picture overall look more appealing as the

colours stand out more.

MOVING ON TO PHOTOSHOP

Then I decided to experiment with the background on Photoshop so I used the Magic Wand Tool to quickly select the background of the original image and I deleted it. Then I created a box and filled it in with the colour grey to experiment what colour I should use. This yet again gives a simple and professional look towards it.
