ELECTROTECHNOLOGY GOVERNMENT FUNDED* INFORMATION Challenge Employment and Training (CBO) have partnered with Electrogroup Apprenticeships and Training (RTO:30185) to provide you an opportunity to kick start your career in the electrical industry. After completing the UEE22011 Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start), you will have the practical skills and knowledge employers are looking for in an apprentice. Challenge Employment and Training (RTO:5388) will also provide you with selected units from FSK20113 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways where required based on a candidate assessment. Participants will be required to undertake work experience where they will gain hands on experience with a qualified tradesperson working in the industry. This program is proudly funded under the Skilling Queenslanders for Work Initiative.Participants must be:

Queensland ResidentAged 15 years or olderAn Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident (Includes humanitarian entrant), temporary residentwith the necessary visa and work permits on a pathway to permanent residency, or aNew Zealand citizen.

What is Skilling Queenslanders for Work?Skilling Queenslanders for Work helps eligible Queenslanders develop skills, gain qualifications and providedirect assistance to enter and stay in the workforce. Community Work Skills assists disadvantagedQueenslanders to gain nationally recognised skills and qualifications up to a certificate III level. How you will benefit?Challenge Employment and Training will deliver specialist Foundation Skills to assist you through yourqualification should you require it and ensure you are confident and competent to enter the workforce oncompletion of the program. You will have the opportunity to learn and network with our highly trained andmotivated supervisors while learning the skills needed to ensure you are job ready.
