Elephant Conservationin Aceh Jaya District

In Aceh Province, Elephant becomes a serious issue related to the arise of conservation and conflict mitigation efforts. The Company took the initiative to assist efforts made by the Aceh Nature Conservation Agency (BKSDA) as an expression of the company's concern in the Elephant conservation’s efforts.

At the end of April 2015, the company (through a subsidiary named PT Tunggal Perkasa Plantations) together with BKSDA Aceh and Aceh Jaya Local Government signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the conservation efforts of the Elephants in Aceh Jaya District.

Location of CRU basecamp in Kemukiman Pante Purba area, SampoinietSub-district, Aceh Jaya District, Aceh.
