THE FAR EAST The far east is a sub-region from Asia,

essencially coincident with Asia's far west geographic area.

With an area close to 6.640.000 square kilometers.

With more than 1,5 billion inhabitants, about 40% of all asians, and one quarter of the world population live in far east, which makes the region one of the most populous in the world

EMERGING COUNTRIES Emerging nation, is a term usually used to

describe a country that has a lifestyle standard between low and medium, an emerging industrial base and a human developing index between medium and high.

Economically emerging countries, are the ones with a very strong or strong economy, often comparable with the economy of developed countries, like Brazil, which is an emerging nation that holds the seventh economy of the globe, with a complex industrial park, and that exports modern machinery and raw materials.

This quantity of exports and imports of products from China is the 3rd world largest importer and 1st world largest exporter.

Chinese products are one of the cheapest in the world because the labor is devalued, and the Chinese currency is very cheap, 6.62 yuans is equivalent to 1 U.S. dollar.

CHINA – IMPORTING AND EXPORTING PRODUCTS

The products that China exports are: machines and equipments, iron and steel, mobile phones, electrical goods, data processing equipment, textiles and clothing. Their main importers are the United States of America, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and Germany.

The main products imported by China are: machines and equipments, oil and mineral fuels, plastics, optical and medical equipment, organic chemicals, iron and steel. The main exporters of these products are: Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, USA and Germany.

INDIA

India moves the amount of 164,3 billion U.S. dollars in exports (2009 data), and the amount of 268,4 billion U.S. dollars in imports (2009 data).

One Dollar is equivalent to 49,17 Indian rupee.

India takes up 21th place in the ranking of world exports and 13th place in the ranking of import.
