The Percy French, set in the grounds of the Slieve Donard Resort, is the perfect place for a relaxed Christmas celebration. With its unique setting, huge roaring fire and the warmest of welcomes, the Percy French offers the finest local festive produce and hospitality.
Festive Dining Our special four-course festive menu is available for both lunch and dinner throughout December. An À La Carte menu is also available on request.

Enjoy a fabulous festive feast with all the trimmings, including a delicious choice of starters, traditional roast turkey and ham, and a selection of decadent desserts. With a Mulled Wine Reception, a visit from Santa with gifts for all the kids and musical entertainment from our pianist, the Percy French is the perfect spot in which to enjoy your Christmas celebrations.

We are delighted to announce the return of Santa’s Polar Express experience at the Slieve Donard Resort from Saturday 11th – Tuesday 21st December 2021.
This event will be a traditional and festive occasion with a host of attractions for all the family, including story-telling with Mrs Claus, letter writing workshop and North Pole Postbox, Christmas movies and of course Santa’s Polar Express train adventure. Most importantly, Santa and his elves will be here, ready to welcome the children into their busy workshop.

Christmas Residential Experience
Our Christmas Day Grand Buffet Lunch in the Oak Restaurant is a sensational experience. The Slieve Donard chefs prepare an extravagant buffet using the best local produce. Help yourself to Langoustines, Dundrum Bay Oysters, Dry Aged Sirloin of Beef, County Down Turkey, Bread and Butter Pudding and Pecan Pie – amongst umpteen other delectable choices.
As well as fabulous food, there’s also music, festive fun and even a visit from Santa with gifts for all the children.
