발표 요약문 09:00 - 09:30 Registration 09:30 - 10:15 Keynote: High eciency ICE design using IFPEN modeling in CONVERGE (IFP ENERGIES NOUVELLES , Julien Bohbot) 개요 Since 2015, IFPEN develops in collaboration with CSI combustion models for ICE in CONVERGE. This presentation will focus on ICE modeling coming from the IFPEN research group and how it can help to design high eciency engines. A portfolio of models has been implemented in the solver CONVERGE to simulate compression ignition (CI) engines and spark ignition (SI) engines. For CI engines, the ECFM3Z model including the tabulated chemistry model TKI is used to take into account auto-ignition and subsequent non-premixed type combustion. For SI engines, the ame surface density model ECFM and ISSIM spark ignition model allow users to simulate the ame ignition and propagation in a turbulent ow. These models, rst implemented for RANS applications, are now available for LES. As shown in previous studies at IFPEN, LES allows to assess cycle to cycle uctuations and knock much better than RANS. Besides, to design new engines with high dilution, new ignition systems are needed like passive and active pre-chambers. Latestdevelopments within iconCFD Thermal, L2P, Acoustic will then be presented along with results frombrake cooling, soiling (including wiper modelling) and general acoustics applications, respectively.The final part of the talk will highlight the new developments in iconCFD Transonic includingvalidation results on hammerhead aerospace launch vehicles for transonic flows.
