EWG Talent is a staffing agency like no other - uniquely tailored to the events, sport, and entertainment industry. We provide motivated and experienced staff (known as ‘Workforcers’) to events in all shapes and sizes, Australia wide. From staff to manage brand activations, event operations, ticketing, hospitality and merchandising crews, through to our more experienced ‘Hired Gun’ contractors and full time candidates for ongoing roles. With over 20,000 Workforcers nationwide, our ability to provide not only the number of staff needed but the skill sets and experience necessary to get the job done, deems us unmatched in the market. Event Workforce Group (EWG) is an Australian-born, globally-focussed staffing and technology solutions business for the event, sport and entertainment industry. Born out of an opportunity to bridge the gap between motivated tertiary students and graduates seeking relevant industry experience, and employers struggling to find suitable experienced candidates for full time roles. EWG is now an integral conduit for the industry, connecting high quality emerging talent with employers nationwide.

After five years of laying a foundation as Australia’s most progressive, bespoke staffing agency for our industry, we have now expanded and formalised other key areas of our business – transforming our vision into a reality to form the Event Workforce Group. Our mission is to become the world’s most comprehensive event workforce solutions business in our key markets of Australia, USA and the UK – and our strategic plan, anchored by our new divisions, will provide us with the scale to achieve this.

EWG Academy is a ground breaking vehicle for students and tertiary institutions alike. The Academy provides our tertiary partners, as well as their students and graduates, a robust program of experiences that compliments their curriculum and enable candidates to gain relevant industry training, certificates and most importantly, casual work, until they are qualified to gain full time employment in the industry. Our bespoke pathway program prepares those in our Academy for the rigours of the industry through practical and theoretical experiences, whilst building their networks. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with all of our tertiary partners to ensure our Academy continues to provide their students with a unique edge to assist them in their transition into successful full time roles.

EWG Technology is a world class series of digital event workforce management software products, designed to assist with registration, online training and rostering for large scale events. Active globally, EWG Technology provides major event clients, and their staff and volunteers alike, with a bespoke online resourcing platform, known as ‘Rosterfy’, which is revolutionising the scheduling of mass participation in events. To date, clients include upcoming 2018 Minnesota Super Bowl, Tough Mudder Globally, the World Masters Games and both the Rugby League and Netball World Cups here in Australia. We look forward to expanding our digital capabilities further, and combining this outstanding service with our EWG Talent offering globally in the future.

Our EWG Academy is a pathway program for our Talent which includes 4 key pillars to achieve before our “Workforcers” become EWG Accredited and join our EWG Alumni of over 50 full time staff in the Australian events, sport, and entertainment industry.

The academy has been created to help students and recent graduates gain skills and experience, advance their careers, contribute towards successful projects and events with the ultimate goal of gaining full time industry placement.
