What is AMSA?

Founded in 1950, the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), is the oldest and largest independent association of physicians-in-training in the United States with 60,000+ members

Members range from pre-medical students, interns, and residents, to practicing physicians

AMSA activism focuses on the following: advocating for quality, affordable health care for all; global health equality; enriching medicine through diversity; and professional integrity, development and student well-being

Cafe Infantil Children's Nutritional Program

Last year, we held a silent auction at Remy's Mexican Restaurant to benefit Cafe Infantil, a children's nutritional program in Balgue, Nicaragua. We raised enough money to fund the program for over two months!

If anyone is interested in helping plan another fundraiser, or wants to volunteer with Cafe Infantil in Nicaragua, please let us know!
