Clover Blossom staff and residents can raise funds and awareness for this disease by walking around the main building and villas, on Friday 10/22 at 1:00pm. We ask the participants give a donation of $10 (cash only), that can be paid at the front desk starting 10/1. Please wear purple on the day of the walk!!! Come learn, speculate, and discuss important news going on here in New York, the United States and around the globe every Monday at 3:00pm at Current Events. Have you ever tried Line Dancing ? Our line dancing instructor, Will, will teach a beginner routine on 10.7 and 10.21 at 1:30pm. Sign up and pay a $5 admission fee at the front desk. On Tuesday 10.12, 10.19. and 10.26 we will be learning about the fascinating and intricate history of the Salem Witch Crisis. Join Bob Sagan on 10.21 at 3:00pm as he brings the sounds and excitement of the Broadway Musicals to life at his American Musical Theater class. Discover fun and creative ways to create beautiful artwork at Painting With Diana on 10.7 and 10.21 at 10:00am. Watermark University 1. Friday October 1st at 11:00am: Fall Foliage @ Letchworth & Lunch @ Glen Iris Inn- Join friends and neighbors for a drive through Letchworth Park to view the beautiful fall foliage that autumn brings. Afterwards, we will enjoy lunch at Glen Iris Inn. 2. Monday October 18th at 1:00pm: Powers Farm Market- At Powers Farm you can purchase fresh baked pies, breads, cakes, and seasonal produce like apples, squash and pumpkins. There are also hayrides, teepees, and farm animals. 3. Monday October 25th at 10:00am: Finger Lakes Casino- Try out your luck at the casino with us. With over 1,100 slot machines and live horse races, you're sure to have some fun! With Fall also comes delicious treats, join us for Doughnuts and Cider on 10.12 at 1:30 pm. Celebrate Oktoberfest on 10.14 at 1:30pm, and enjoy classic German food and beverages. Adorn your doors with a the festive Halloween Wreaths 10.26 at 2:00pm. Personalize a pumpkin to decorate your home at Pumpkin Painting on 10.28 at 10:30am. Start off your Halloween with Halloween Trivia at 10:30am, followed by watching the classic Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown at 1:45pm. Dress up in a costume and join us for a Halloween Party with Music by Mike Sidoti on 10.31 at 3:00pm in the piano room. The best costume will win a prize!! Fall Festivities With the start of Autumn also comes the start of flu season. The good news is you can protect yourself by signing up for the Flu Clinic, which will be conveniently located in our Media Room on Wednesday, October 20th starting at 9:00am. More information on the clinic to follow! Just like we have checkups for our eyes and teeth it is equally as important to have checkups on our ears to check for problems and prevent further damage. On October 14th between 1:30pm and 4:30pm, have your hearing checked by an Audiologist. If you are interested in changing your health care and would like to learn about options available to you, there will be a Medicare Information Hour on October 5th at 1:30pm in our Media Room.
