FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER MAY 7, 2017

PRE-AUTHORIZED GIVING PROGRAM

Thank you for all you do in support of Prince of Peace Par-ish. On May 13 and 14, a staff member from the Develop-ment Office of the Archdiocese will visit us to tell you more about the Pre-Authorized Giving (PAG) program which we will launch next week. PAG allows you to support your parish when you are away - a benefit to the church, since expenses continue all year long. Enrollment forms will be made available beginning May 13 and 14. If you are ready to join the program, you may bring a void cheque so you can sign up. For more infor-mation, please call our parish office.

THANK YOU FROM OUR YOUTH

Our Youth would like to thank everyone who supported the

pancake breakfast last weekend. Your generosity contrib-uted greatly to its huge success. The proceeds will help each youth attend the Steubenville youth conference this summer. Special thanks to everyone who came out to help serve the breakfast. It was very much appreciated.

100th ANNIVERSARY—OUR LADY OF FATIMA— MONTH OF MAY

We would like to invite all parishioners every 13th day of the month, starting May 13 and ending October 13, for a Holy Mass and candlelight procession, to honour the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady in Fatima. On Saturday, May 13 immediately following the 5:00 pm Mass there will be a procession to the grotto of Our Lady where we will assemble and recite the Living Rosary fol-lowed by floral offering to Our Blessed Mother. We en-courage all the children of our parish to come and join us in the procession and Rosary.

Living the Gospel by providing for those in need…. “One of the core components of our Pastoral Plan is Cath-olic Outreach in Justice and Love. As a Catholic Commu-nity we are called to be the hands and face of Jesus in our communities. One of the ways that we do this is through our annual ShareLife appeal, which provides resources to agencies serving the poor and marginalized not only in our archdiocese, but also around the world. ShareLife is a tangible way that we can put the Gospel value to love one another as I have loved you into action, and I invite all pa-rishioners to support the mission work of the Catholic church by making a sacrificial gift to ShareLife” - Thom-as Cardinal Collins, Archbishop of Toronto

Today is ShareLife Sunday Thank you for your generosity.

BUNDLE SUNDAY - MAY 6 & 7 The St. Vincent de Paul truck will be in our parking lot this weekend to accept your gently used, clean clothing and household linen. We do not accept appliances, baby or regular furniture, books, mattresses, dishes, construc-tion material or video tapes.
