If you need a smart assistant for turning on a large scale, the Fendt Twister with transport chassis is your first choice. Compact and safe on the road, wide and stable in the field, it lets you loosen and turn forage with the usual high-quality Fendt results. Dust-protected rotor headsClever and strong design: The closed construction of the Fendt Twister rotor heads protects the gear parts effectively against dust, which reduces the maintenance effort. The individual rotors are driven via a generously dimensioned hexagonal shaft as well as robust universal joints. The result: a sophisticated power train that has proven itself over the decades and is all about reliability.

Durable tine armsTo minimise losses in power transmission, the Fendt Twister hay tedders were designed with tine arms made of massive, galvanised spring steel. They stand up to the toughest operating conditions and easily master uneven ground. Mounted on the underside of the tine arms, the Super C tines always work efficiently and have the necessary flexibility. And in the event that a tine should ever break: The standard specification anti-tine loss protective device protects against loss.

Super C quality tinesStability, elasticity, durability: Only the very best tines that survive at least 200,000 impacts in the test cycle without damage earn the name “Super C”. Super C tines, with a tine diameter of 9.5 mm, a winding diameter of 70mm and six windings, are used exclusively on the Fendt Twister and ensure the forage is well-aired, loose and always perfectly mixed.

Equal-sided tines turn the forage ideally and produce the desired combing effect.

Fast and economical with transport chassis The Fendt Twister tedder with transport chassis is compact on the road, strong in the field and flexible in hitching. Depending on the version, it can be attached to the lower links, hitch or clevis. The large-volume tyres permit transport speeds of up to 50 km/h and therefore fast, economical moving between operating sites. Their high stability on slopes is further improved through the unique synchronised lifting facility for the rotors, which uses pressure cylinders.

Short and compact on the tractor: the three-point attachment with trailing device ensure optimal ground contour following.

The Fendt Twister tedder with transport chassis guarantees tremendous area coverage with up to 10 rotors and a 12.70-m working width.

Durable and secure three-point attachmentIf you are looking for a powerful all-rounder, you have found it in the Fendt Twister with three-point attachment. Its low lying towing point plus the patented traction compression system brings together decisive advantages: The weight of the machine is transferred onto the lower links, thereby reducing the load on the three-point headstock. Driving stability, ground hugging and trailing behaviour are outstanding. Even when travelling downhill, the machine does not run into the back of the tractor and the tedder does not develop bounce in large forage crops or at higher working speeds.

OPERATION, SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE

360° maintenance-friendly.Safe and comfortable all around.

Frame joints can be lubricatedEven the strongest frame joints, like the ones we use, have to be lubricated at some time. On the Fendt Twister tedders, the grease nipples can be reached effortlessly; no preparatory work is required.

Rotor freewheel safety switch-offEquipped with the innovative SLS Security Lock System, the Fendt Twister models do not leave safety to chance during the folding procedure. When the two halves of the machine are folded up for transport, the hydraulic system automatically interrupts the power flow to the rotors through an integral freewheel function. All other models have a mechanical safety switch-off.

Effective anti-tine loss protective deviceThose who have experienced the precision and load capacity of the Super C tines, will never want to miss them again. If a tine should ever break after many years of hard work, the standard-equipped anti-tine loss protective device keeps people, the machine and the forage safe.

Safe on the road: The centre of gravity on the Fendt Twister lies near the tractor, which ensures stable driving. Simply fold in the rotors using the hydraulic sequential control system and drive to the next operating site.

Especially short attachment to the tractor and a small clearance between the tines and wheels ensure excellent ground fol-lowing.

Lifting height limiting at the headlands prevents damage to the drive shafts, even when the PTO is running.

The integrated, adjustable swing brake keeps the tedder from develop-ing bounce.

Safe operation, even on slopes, with the synchronised lifting facility.

Perfect fodder distribution through 3-position throwing angle adjustment. Throwing angle with 15°, 18° and 21°.

Convenient and prevents loss: With the hydraulic edge spreading device, you can limit the spreading width with just one hand movement from the driver seat, e.g. at the edge of the field.
