Due to lack of time and funds, I v/as unable to prospect all fifteen claims*. Instead I concentrated on the nine clains that I had alregkdy- found showings on.
s;'*''
GEOLOGY:
I prospected ;aid took samples on claims #1068713* 1^6871^-, 1068715, 1068720, 1068726 and 1060727. I also prospected on Oiaim ^1063723 but found that the depth of overburden nade nrosoectinr difficult. I concentrated prospecting plus strip ~ and trenchinj- effort a on clsJLia #1C6C722 and rric687^. Over all the area is very rough with a lot of outcrops - tha majority of which are covered with moss. There are numerous sulphide, iron, iron pyrite and quartz showings in the area, '-'hile projecting on claim -1.068722 and claim #lO6Q?2b, I discovered showings that I had not found before. On claii.: #106372';, an iron formation runs north-east to south-west in the south-fcJest corner of the claim (G showing). In the south-east corner, I found^another vein (iron formation) that runs east and west (B showing). I believe that the vein from B showing runs into the vein frons
: showing. However, due to the high outcrops in the area, I cannot expose that vein by trenching. It will be r.sccssjary to drill at soae later date. In 1?G9* I uncovered A shoving in the central section of the same claiai. I believe that C showing is the sane vein as the A showing (see diagram).
38!
I believe there is a very good chance of finding a substantialamount of base metal as well as silver and gold.A showing is an iron format4on with quartz ~ the sains tyr ?s ofrock as B and ^. The ,\ shoving was the reason that I stakedthese claims. Future \vork will be concentrated in this samearea.Olain Ho. 1068722 is the same type of rock (iron formation) butit is a narrower ve LA. Due to lac d of tiao and poor weatherconditions, I was unable to hire a geologist to ^reriar^ ar oort on this -ro"ert;y.To the north of the creek on claim ^l'J6372't- and ^1063725, theroik .to mat i on is granite, ranite is also found to the eastof the -.-rov-srty.i 'i II o w lava i;; found on Clairri .--l Col'715*
