“We lived in the original property for a good few years just to get a feel for the place as our intention was to extend and refurbish what was already here, however in the end we decided it would make much more sense just to take it down and start from scratch, so that’s exactly what we did. The design brief was to create the ideal family home with a free-flowing layout, a lovely feeling of space throughout and we also wanted to inject as much natural light as possible, and I’d say that the house we have built ticks all those boxes and more. “A tremendous amount of glazing has been used in the design of the building.
