Since its first edition in 2006, the Brompton Design District has evolved to become a highlight of the London Design Festival with a curated programme of exhibits, talks and events on topical design issues. Designed from an animal perspective, the projects explore the potential of natural materials and are on view in Brompton’s gardens for the duration of the London Design Festival.

Since its first edition in 2006, the Brompton Design District has evolved to become a highlight of the London Design Festival with a curated programme of exhibits, talks and events on topical design issues.

Situated next to the Festival hub at the V&A, the District comes to life through its mix of international design brands and a series of outdoor commissions and temporary exhibits curated by Jane Withers Studio.

Brompton’s theme for 2019, Nature/Nurture, explores what design is doing to protect and learn from the natural world, reconsidering our physical and emotional connection to nature, particularly in the urban environment.
