Freddie Mercury
Johnny Will
Johnny, not only having the incredibly daunting task of being Freddie, in both vocals and stage presence, is a multi-instrumentalist, who plays piano, guitar,
bass and drums, and covers the Freddie piano parts in the show.
Johnny has been in the music scene from a very early age, taking up the guitar at 8 years old, and performing in his first show just 2 years later. He spent
much of his early teens in Spain, where he would watch his dad perform, which eventually led to him performing along-side his father. On returning to the UK
Johnny began honing his guitar skills learning the music of his key musical influences, such as Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteen and John
Petrucci and soon started performing with a band called “Tears”.
Johnny has been responsible for putting together some great tribute acts over the years, including Queen Alive and Dave Bates ELO. He also still performs regularly with QE2. His performing is influenced by a wide range of talented
artists, such as Toto, Chicago, Queen, ELO, The Four Seasons and The Beatles. You will have to blink as you will believe Freddie has returned from the grave, as Johnny is one of the most authentic Freddie’s that you will ever see, both in
his vocal range and strength and his energy and stage presence.
Brian May
Luke Timmins
In the shoes of the legend that is Brian May, we have a very talented young man, Luke
Timmins.
Luke was just 9 when he first picked up a guitar and from that moment, he’s never looked back. Playing guitar has always been Luke’s passion, having lessons from the age of 10 and throughout his time at school. Luke began performing in front of live audiences when he
was 13 and has since clocked up over thousand live performances since.
Luke was inspired to learn to play after seeing a recording of Queen’s legendary concert at Wembley Stadium as part of the magic tour. From the moment the band walked onto the stage, he knew that was what he wanted to do. After the first song, Luke said he’d love to be in a Queen tribute band, then when Luke turned 18 his dream came true and he was
asked to join his first Queen tribute. By this time Luke had made a reputation for himself in function/covers as skilled and confident guitarist.
Now, at a still young age of 23, Luke is very proud to have performed with some of the top
Queen tributes such as Supreme Queen and QE-2, performing at prestigious and iconic venues such London’s Alexandra Palace and Liverpool’s Echo Arena.
Luke has talent way beyond his years, and his style and control in this role is second to
none. Luke is Brian May!
