Student Voice
Lucy Swan and Amber Jeffery are our budding news reporters
writing for Student Voice this week.
Amber: Lucy:.
Hello everyone, my name is Lucy Swan and I am
in Macarthur in Year 6 with Miss Rampling. She
is the best teacher!
Can you believe that it’s already Week 7? This
year is going so fast! High school is coming up
and I am pretty excited. I am also sad because I
have had a good time at Franklin. Like the time I
won the Spelling Bee in Kindergarten, Year two,
Year four and came second this year.
Last Friday Year 6 went up to high school for a
whole day. We went to different classes every
hour by using a timetable.
Last Friday back at school there was Banks’
assembly. Filled with awards, tokens and wrist
bands.
Hope you all have a great week!
Hi my name is Amber Jeffery and I am in
Year 6 in Macarthur.
It is Week 7 at Franklin and the end of the
school year is coming in fast. Sadly for Year 6
their time at Franklin is coming to an end.
The Year 6 farewell dinner and assembly is
being planned and the final transition at
Tumut High happened last Friday.
I have lots of great memories from this
school. One that stands out is when I danced
to a song called ‘pen, pineapple, apple, pen’
in front of the whole of Stage 2.
Swim school will commence on Monday,
December the 2nd
for all students who have
their notes and money in. This is for students
who are yet to learn to swim 25 metres.
On Friday, Stage 2 students have an
excursion (lucky stage 2).
Thanks for reading my student voice!

Hume Students Hit the Right Notes
Hume students hit all the right notes during a recent visit to
BUPA, where they showed
off their musical talents to
the captivated crowd.
Afterwards our students met
and chatted with some of
the residents.
Pictured are Heidi, Ella, Jorja
& Cooper and Mrs Smith.
Bush To Beach Program
Last week our infants students participated in the Bush
To Beach program.
This program teaches our children the importance of
lifesaving and how to be safe around the many
waterways in Australia.
School Leader Speeches
Year 5 students gave their speeches last Friday for Captains and Prefects for 2020. All 10 students had ex-
cellent speeches and we wish all of our candidates the best of luck.
Year 6 Transition Day
Year 6 went to Tumut High last Friday for a full
transition day into Year 7 next year. Students
