FWES Year End Procedures 2020 It is hard to believe we are approaching the end of the 2019-20 school year, and even harder to have to close out a school year with our amazing FWES students and families with social distancing. We plan to make it the best it can be and look forward to 2020-21!!!

FWES Year End Procedures 2020● Report Cards will be emailed to families by 3:30pm on June 5th (teachers should be contacted

for any questions or a conference June 8-12)● Yearbooks and Class Photos will be distributed with student belongings● The Carpool Loop will be used for student belonging pick up (work, art, etc.) using a scheduled

pick up day and time● Teachers will welcome and greet students from 6 ft away during pick up

○ Homeroom teachers will only be present on the day and time indicated for the Grade Level● Families can return library books through this process but should keep all hot spots and

devices at this time. ○ Students NOT returning to a WCPSS school in 2020-21 should return hot spots and devices to FWES

during Year End Procedures● Families wishing to leave a card, note or token for a teacher/staff member may do so at this

time● There will be no building access for students/families

○ Only families needing to pick up medications will be allowed to enter during the belongings pick up dates and times and anyone entering must wear a face covering (not provided by school)

FWES Student Item Pick Up 2020

The process outlined must follow all safety protocols defined by WCPSS. FWES Process….

● Families can gather FWES library books to return to FWES

● Teachers will pack a bag for each student of their belongings from the classroom.

○ Bags will include yearbooks and class group photos.

● Student Bags will be picked up in the carpool loop on the designated day and time.

● Families or students with any sign of illness may not participate in pick up process

● Vehicles will move through the loop to a designated table for pick up

● Classroom teachers will place the bag on the table and step 6 ft away- then the student or parent can pick up the bag.

○ Many teachers would like to snap photos of students or selfies with students (from 6ft away)- so we hope we’ll to see students come through the line!

● Families with medication to pick up should go through the carpool pick up belongings first and then park in the bus lot and enter through the bus side doors for front office access

○ All entering the building must wear a face covering while inside (not provided by the school)

● Families unable to come on the designated day and time will be able to set up an appointment to come pick up items after June 15th by calling 919-460-3469.

*Due to safety regulations- only teachers from the grade level listed will be available during each pick up times. Families with more than one student are asked to visit for each student so students and teachers can see each other:)
