LOWER OVEN BAKE ELEMENT The lower oven bake element is connected to the inside of the oven cavity with two 1/4-in. hex- head screws. Training Bulletin OCTOBER 2009 WARNING: Element may be hot . Sharp edges may be exposed when servicing. Use caution to avoid injury. Wear Kevlar gloves or equivalent protection. After removing the screws, pull the element forward while carefully pressing the element ends towards the center to clear the back of the cavity. The terminals are not accessible from the rear of the range. The bake element terminals are located behind the left- and right-side access panels. If a wire burns off you must remove the side panel of the range to access the wire. Wire

    INTRODUCTION

    The lower oven bake element on models JB850DP/SP and JB855DP/SP is connected at the back corners of the lower oven cavity at a diagonal angle.
