Note that there is a Search box at the top. You can search all 479 messages in this forum for a word (I pick to search for Daniel CORLEY)

We can then click on the individual message subject lines shown to see the actual messages

NOTE: when you send a message, use good subject lines!

GenForum When you click on a message subject line, you see the full

message, as in the example shown below The name of the person who sent the message is shown near

the top. Click on the name to get their email address and more.

I checked out the messages left by others on GenForum and those where there was a possibility that I might be related, I sent a message to them.

I clicked on “Post New Message” and posted (sent) a message on the forum about my ancestor Daniel S. CORLEY and his wife Susan KARNES, explaining what I was looking for.

I waited for replies to the emails I sent out or for people to see my message and contact me. (see corleyemail.ppt for compilation of results)
