A basic speedform sculpture with no details, such as windows, headlights or wheels, designed around a certain word.A 3D Alias model was created and used as an underlay to produce photoshop renders over it.

ModelI chose the word “Dynamic” and started with the model. My main inspiration were the 1930’s world speed record cars.Through the lenght of the vehicle the forms become more slanted to acencuate on the speeding look of the vehicle. It’s further emphasized by the forward rake and the teardrop shape.

A mix between a BMW interior with notes from the exterior and Lee Bul’s work.
An Infinity mirror running through the middle of the car, with a display hidden in the console.
Several friends asked me to help them with their Final year projects - making an Alias model of their wheels to be 3D printed or milled.As this was the first time I’ve made a stitched model, every next wheel was better, as I’ve realised what needs to be done ending in a perfectly stitched wheel.

Porsche SpeedsterBriefA short project - Alias and Vred only.A modern version of the iconic 356 Speedster using the current Porsche Design Language.

A sleek, not aggressive but stylish exterior using the original 356 proportions butadding some current design features.
Using large panels keeping the shutlines to a minimum, resulting in a smooth body and keeps the design to the retro look that was intended.
A rear engine, rear wheel drive drivetrain is used, sticking
to what Porsche is famous for.

The simplistic “Retro” design of the interior is mixed with modern technology. The display is integrated in the dash without spoiling the styling.

A proposal for a race car version, using the famous Rothmans Livery and replacing the standard wheels with BBS E55’s with wider dish. The ride height has also been lowered and the car has been given some forward rake to make the stance more aggressive.
*The Rothmans livery was chosen solely for the rich history Porsche have with it and it’s purpouse in no way an advertisment for the company, nor to promote smoking.
