WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The aim of the patented products and processes with the NFD® trademark is to change the appearance of those vending machines which are in technically good but aesthetically obsolete condition by giving them not only eye-catching, state-of-the art design but making them safer and energy-efficient as well. Technically the NFD® products can be applied for almost any type of vending machines—after the adjustment of size -, they consist of identical elements (door profile, superstructure, footing element) and can be assembled in the same way. Basically the door of the original vending machine will function as the ‘weight bearing’ part of the structure. From this, all the outer decoration and functional elements need removing. Then the NFD® door profile (made of 1mm thick steel sheet) is placed there followed by the superstructure (containing the complete LED lighting, the decoration elements, the selection panel, the display and the electrical connections) and finally the footing element. The functional elements from the inside of the door on the vending machine are put back in their original place. The original programme and configuration of the vending machine is retained. To assemble the NFD® products does not require any special skills, anybody can fix it on their vending machine within 1,5 or 2 hours. You can find all the necessary fasteners and electrical connections in each package provided.

Our concept offers a spectacular and cost-effective solution to moderate the aesthetic and technical loss of value of vending machines and to increase the length of their operation and marketability.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Steps of the NFD process:

1. Detach the original door of the vending machine. 2. Remove all the functional and decoration elements from the original door protruding from the outer surface.

3. Place the NFD door profile like a prosthesis on the prepared original door sheet which will function as the weight bearing structure. 4. The NFD door will function as a drilling and in case of certain types as a cutting template. Where necessary, points of fastening and holes need to be

prepared in advance. 5. Fix the NFD door profile on the original door sheet.

6. Fix the NFD superstructure in which the selection panel, the decoration surfaces, illumination etc. are reassembled. 7. Reassemble the door converted with the NFD profile on the original vending machine.

8. After connecting the electric and electronic cables, the vending machine is ready to operate.

The controller electronic system of the VENDINFO system is connected to the selection button panel of the vending machine. This how the customer can access information on the product to be purchased by pressing the button belonging to the product. When the button is pressed, detailed information (the name of the product, the price, the quantity, the energy content, ingredients) about the chosen product becomes visible and there might be a warning if it contains allergens and/or caffeine. Furthermore, a picture or an advertisement about the product can also be displayed. The amount of sound recording can be adjusted to the push buttons and the speed to play it can also customized. After the adjusted time elapses, the material programmed as the default setting is displayed on the screen again.

The main aim of the VENDINFO service is to inform the customers comprehensively regarding the products offered from the vending machine and the usage of the vending machine.

To ensure equal chance for disabled people (visually impaired people), all the important information can be transmitted by sound, too. In additions, it offers the facility to display different advertisements, movies, videos.

The system consists of an LCD screen, a loudspeaker, a controller electronic system and a controller software. The information is on an SD card which can be programmed by the vending machine operator with the help of a laptop or a pc.

Web surface application. CONFIGURATION Vending machine type has to be

selected. The so-called layout belonging to

the appropriate product range has to be constructed.

The layout consists of as many me-dia lists as the number of product selection push buttons and/or code you want to use (1 product=1 media list)

The media list can comprise media (pictures, voice) and the timing of their display in relation to each other.

They have to uploaded onto the server and the layout is to be con-structed on the web surface. The system adjusts the uploaded pic-tures to the screen automatically.

Then the ready material can be saved directly on the SD card and it has to be inserted into the screen controller hardware.

If telemetry system is connected the INTERFACE conducting the communication, the information can be loaded remotely and can be modified any time.
