Hearty welcome!
I am pleased to extend a warm welcome to you to Rome, Italy which is one of the fabulous tourist destinations in the World. Also, we are immensely pleased to present the Sixth European Academic Research Conference on Global Business, Economics, Finance and Social Sciences & International Conference on Management & Behavioural Sciences to you all! Rome, indeed, is a very vibrant global city with a very rich cosmopolitan outlook. It is a busy city with multiple shopping arcades, gourmet restaurants, nightclubs and interesting sight-seeing attractions.
Tackling Recession and Economic Challenges! (EAR17Italy Conference) Research indicates that among other important reasons sub-prime loans, excessive credit and unnatural increase in housing prices caused recession. Such unforeseen developments allegedly aggravated collapses of both banking and insurance sectors owing to massive defaults and losses. Coupled with several other causes, the world witnessed recession in 2008 and the ramifications are clearly felt, even today. Employment, personal income, industrial output and sales nose-dive during this highly uncertain and volatile periods.
How to Survive Recession! Financial economists argue that businesses have to re-think the way they do business to survive recession. Some of the most important recommendations include initiating the following steps: Restricting the credit lines to the clients, obtaining most recent data/information about the clients, gathering pertinent information about emerging trends in the industry, seeking fresh guarantees, working seriously on negative information about the clients such as payment delays, no show-up, no replies etc., assessing industry-wide risks resorting to smaller and frequent sales and offering shorter credit terms help companies to survive during turbulent times.
Choosing the Right Candidates for Jobs! (IC17Italy Conference) One of the most crucial tasks being faced by every employer, obviously, is to identify the right candidate for the job. Established companies have sound processes wherein a potential candidate is interviewed and evaluated in more than one way applying robust yardsticks and criteria. Of course, it is, undoubtedly, a time-consuming process but time spent on choosing the right candidates is truly worthy enough. Perhaps the newly-

recruited employee’s contributions/achievements and higher level of commitment would adequately justify the employer’s efforts to hire an outstanding performer.
Research for Addressing Global Problems! The world, today, is facing a lot of challenges. Institutions of higher learning should focus on fixing the global issues and problems being faced by the humanity. Their research should help humanity to live in peace and harmony. If the academic community and institutions focus on those aspects, I am sure, many of the issues afflicting the society could be addressed, easily.

Registration
Upon arrival at the Conference venue, please proceed to the MARCONI to complete the
registration. There will be signage/written direction to help you to locate us. You may
also enquire at the front desk for directions to the Conference room.
Please note that registration desk will be open from 8.30 am to 9.30 am on 1 July, 2017.
Please report either to Dr. Elango Rengasamy or any volunteer for completing your registration. If you have already remitted the conference fee, you will receive a folder comprising conference items and agenda.
Conference proceedings
Conference proceedings will be available ‘online’.
All the papers that are listed in the Conference handbook will be available online on our
website.
Presentation Room
On July 1 & 2, we will be using the presentation rooms MARCONI.
What should you bring along for your presentation? Please bring the PPT of your research paper in a pen-drive. Please print at least 10-12 copies of your full paper and hand them to the chair and participants of the session at

the beginning of your presentation. If you have already sent your ppt to us, it will be ready for presentation. Each author will have about 15 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions
and discussion. Kindly stick to the allocated time limits, please.
The meeting room has an LCD projector and a laptop computer for you to make your
presentation.
***Please ensure that you save your presentation file both in 2010/2013 versions.
Coffee and Lunch Break
Coffee and snacks will be served twice (morning and evening) in Lobby. Lunch will be served at the Restaurant.
Best Paper Award ‘Best Paper’ is selected on the basis of a set of selected criteria. Reviewers’ report is the
key factor in selecting the best research papers. The best paper awards will be
announced at the conference.
Best Presenter Award (Only for Research Scholars) Best Presenter Awards will be presented only to research scholars/young researchers who make outstanding presentations in each track which will be based on the recommendations of the Chair/Observers of the respective technical sessions. If sufficient number of research scholars do not participate, this award would not be presented.
Publication of your Paper
All the accepted papers will be published in the form of ‘Conference proceedings’. It will
also be published in our journals provided you have opted for it and made significant
improvements on the papers in light of the Reviewers’ reports/suggestions.
