Info Session 1 (6 Oct) Challenge Statements
Sensors & Monitoring SystemsA. Sensor data integrity monitoring: How might we identify
drifts or inaccuracies in sensor readings?
B. Real-time detection of taste and odour compounds in water: How might we detect and measure the taste and odour of water in real-time in a water treatment plant?
C. Seamless coagulation control: How might we determine the required coagulant dosage in water treatment processes using new means that are faster, connected, and automatic?
3
Automation & Robotics• Automated Earth Control Measure submission evaluator: How
might we reduce the time spent on the evaluation of Earth Control Measures submission drawings and accurately identify the lapses?
• Robotics for water tank cleaning: How might we use robotics equipment to clean the inside of water tanks?
• Automated identification and enumeration of midge populations: How might we better monitor the populations of midges at reservoirs?
