Getting to Phoenix via Airplane: Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX)

serves 40 million people so it keeps busy. Being popular, and a common stop over and a hub of US Airways there are plenty of flights to choose from to get you here. The airport is just three miles from downtown so you can get to your hotel quickly and efficiently.

Ground Transportation: All major rental-car companies have desks at the airport which is separate from the terminals, served by a free shuttle bus. Taxi rates remain the same regardless of company, number of passengers or number of bags. The first mile is a staggering $5, each additional mile is $2.30 and a minimum fare is $15. Each per trip airport surcharge is $1. Limousines offer airport-to-door service and rates vary according to destination, but typically range from $35 to $85.
