WIRING DIAGRAMSM1001012800019
In each section, all specifications are listed, including optional specifications. Accordingly, somespecifications may not be applicable for individual vehicles.
Section Basic contentsSingle partinstallation position
Locations are shown for each point of relays, electronic control units, sensors, solenoids, solenoid valves, diodes, inspection connectors, spare connectors, fusilinks, fuses, etc. In the part’s lists, parts are listed in alphabetical order.
Wiring harnessconfigurationdiagrams
Connector locations and harness wiring configurations on actual vehicles areillustrated.
Circuit diagrams Circuits from power supply to earth are shown completely, classified according tosystem. There is a main division into power circuits and circuits classified by systeThe circuits classified by system also include operation and troubleshooting hints
• Junction blockThe entire circuit for the junction block is described, because only the part of th junction block needed is normally shown in each circuit diagram.
• Joint connectorsThe internal circuits for all joint connectors are described, because only the paneeded is shown in each circuit diagram.
• Power supply circuitsCircuits from the battery to fusible link, fuses, ignition switch, etc.
• Circuits classified by systemFor each system, the circuits are shown from fuse to earth, excluding the powesupply sections.
• OperationThe standard operation of each system is briefly described, following the routecurrent flow.
• Troubleshooting hintsThis is a brief explanation of the inspection points that serve as hints whentroubleshooting. Explanations of the circuits controlled by the electronic controunit are omitted. Refer to the related publications as required.

DIAGRAMSM1001006400056
The wiring harness diagrams clearly show the connector locations and harness routings at each site onactual vehicles.

Denotes connector No.The same connector No. is used throughout the circuit diagrams to facilitate connector location searches.
The first alphabetical symbol indicates the location site of the connector and a number that follows is the unique number.Numbers are usually assigned to parts in clockwise order on the diagram.
Example: A-19Number specific to connector (serial number)
Connector location site symbolA: Engine compartmentB: Engine and transmissionC: Dash panelD: Floor and roofE: DoorF: Tailgate
Denotes earth point.Same earth number is used throughout circuitdiagrams to facilitate search of earth point.Refer to GROUP 2 SINGLE PART INSTALLATIONPOSITION - EARTH MOUNTING LOCATIONSfor details of earth points.
Denotes the colour of the corrugatedtube (If not specified, it is black.)R: RedY: Yellow
The number of connector pins and the connector colour(except milk white)* are shown for ease of retrieval.
Example: (2-B) Connector colour (milk white if no colour is indicated)

Connectorand terminalmarking
1 The male and female terminalsare indicated as shown. Theconnector with male terminal(s)is called as male connector andindicated by two connectorcontour lines, while the
connector with femaleterminal(s) is called as femaleconnector and indicated bysingle connector contour line.
Connectorsymbolmarking
2 The symbol indicates theconnector is viewed as shown. At a device connection, theconnector symbol on the deviceside is shown. For anintermediate connector, themale connector symbol isshown. For spare connectorsand check connectors, nodevice is connected, and so theharness-side connector symbolis shown for these connectors. For the diagnosis connector, itscontents differ from the previousdescription. Refer to "MUT−II
operation instruction" in detail.

WIRE COLOR CODEM1001008000054
Wire colours are identified by the following colourcodes.
If a cable has two colours, the first of the two colourcode characters indicates the basic colour (colour ofthe cable coating) and the second indicates themarking colour.
NOTE:
*: No code indicates 0.5 mm 2 (0.0008 in 2 ). Cable
colour code in parentheses indicates 0.3 mm 2
(0.0005 in 2 ).
