With a simple set of the very best amenities and incentives, Seabourn’s Group Sales Program is the best way to build
your business.
We understand how profitable selling groups can be for you, so we’ve created a simple set of tools to help you succeed. Our Group Sales
Program is the simplest, easiest and most generous at sea. Choose either Shipboard Credits to help you close the sale, or Bonus Commissions
to help defray your marketing costs. Combine either of those two amenities with the opportunity to earn Tour Conductor credits and you’ll see
why the World’s fi nest Small-Ship Cruise Line offers the world’s best Group Sales Program.
Shipboard Credits OR Bonus Commissions can be chosen at the
time the contract is created. Participating travel advisor partners
must sell enough suites to earn the fi rst Tour Conductor berth and
make final payment on the qualifying bookings in order to earn
Shipboard Credit or Bonus Commission amenities. Certain
combinability restrictions may apply.
One single program covers all types of groups and offers
unparalleled value
Utilize our one simple Group Sales Program for all types of group
business – such as family events, social clubs, sports organizations,
food and wine enthusiasts and service clubs, just to name a few.
Seabourn offers tremendous value, especially for groups – the

amenities for group guests, or added compensation for group

minimum commitment of 5 suites/10 guests (double occupancy) is
required for a group contract.
n Seabourn Encore – A minimum commitment of 7 suites/14 guests
(double occupancy) is required for a group contract.

n Seabourn Encore – The maximum size for a standard group contract

Other Guidelinesn Requests for larger allotments require Seabourn’s Product Marketing/
Executive approval, and may require a separate agreement with
revised deposit, cancellation and Tour Conductor policies.
n Additional group space beyond the space initially contracted
may be available subject to approval. Any bookings made outside
the group will not count toward earning Tour Conductor credits.
n Alternative category space may also be available subject to
approval. All bookings made within approved category space will
count toward earning Tour Conductor credits.
n Specific accommodation assignments are available only when full
deposit is received and complete guest names are given.
REVIEW AND RECALL DATES
Other Guidelinesn Group allotments will be reviewed periodically and unsold space
may be recalled at any time at Seabourn’s discretion. Advance
notice will be given via fax or e-mail and a “book by” date of at
least 24 hours will be provided.
n Unsold space is defined as space for which Seabourn does not
have specific guest names and the required deposit.
EARNED TOUR CONDUCTOR CREDIT
n Tour Conductors vary by ship and sailing date and are subject
to change. Please inquire with Group Sales for the current Tour
Conductor credit ratios. Only the first and second guests in a
suite apply towards earning a Tour Conductor credit.
n A Tour Conductor suite will not be booked for use by Tour
Conductors/escorts unless requested in advance as part of the
contracted group allotment. Tour Conductors will simply be
calculated as financial credits and arbitrarily applied to a booking
within the group for accounting purposes. For example, if the
standard Tour Conductor ratio is 1:9, 20 guests must be booked
and deposited within the group’s allotment in order for the Tour
Conductor suite to be provided. Net Tour Conductor credits are
refunded to the agency after departure.
n A maximum of 8 Tour Conductor berths per group may be earned.
n Tour Conductor credits will be earned based on the category in which
the greatest number of guests (based on double occupancy) is
sold. Should the same number of guests be sold in more than one
category, the lowest-fare category will be used in calculating the
Tour Conductor credit.
n Each booking made as sole occupancy will count as 1 guest when
calculating the number of Tour Conductor berths a group has earned.
n Bookings may be excluded from Tour Conductor calculations and/or
amenities based on pricing eligibility
n Tour Conductors are cruise-only and do not include airfare,
transfers, land extensions or shore excursions, non-commissionable
fares, Taxes, Fees & Port Expenses, any miscellaneous fees/
charges or insurance premiums.
COMMISSION
A travel agency will earn the same rate of commission for group

ONBOARD CREDITS

earn group shipboard credits, a participating group travel advisor
partner must sell enough suites to earn the first Tour Conductor berth.
