WhO WE AREHammersmithLondon BID is a not-for-profit company, first elected in March 2006, with our mandate renewed for a second 5-year-term in March 2011.

We aim to provide new and expanded services within the BID area, as identified by the local businesses to improve the working and trading environment, in four key areas:

pROTECT the area

IMpROVE the environment

ENERGISE the town centre

CONNECT the community

We work in close partnership with public bodies like the council and police but are entirely independent, funded by our BID levy payers and additional revenue streams.

We provide ‘additionality’ to council amenities, not substitute service.

And in 2013/14 we expanded our offer even further…

As one of the key reasons for the formation of the BID, the continued safety and security of workers, residents and visitor remains an essential part of our mandate.

The safety and security of Hammersmith has improved greatly over the past few years and it is comforting to know that the BID team work extremely hard to keep it that way.

They have their priorities right and are doing a great job.
