Scenes from the first D6 Malaysia Conference
Last week, we looked at some behind-the-scenes work in preparing our Church to host the country’s first D6 Conference that was held on 3rd and 4th Aug. It drew about 500 participants from far and wide and created many new friendships and photo opportunities. Here are some of them …
Dr Ron Hunter Jr with Bishop Rev Dr Ong Hwai Teik and his wife Mun Kean.
Dr Ron Hunter Jr with TRAC President Rev Dr T. Jeyakumar and our
Associate Pastor Rev Joshua Hong
TRAC Layleader Datin Judy Chin hand-ing a love gift to Rev Joshua Hong.
TMCJ Layleader Andrew Wong (centre) with Sarawak Iban Annual Conference President Rev Steward Damat (to his
right) and his contingent.

power our congregaons to acvely and successfully engage in making disciples of Jesus Christ (Ma. 28:19).

Monday 27 August Malaysia: Pray for the Prime Minister and the Cabinet Ministers, that they will be people of truth,
integrity and jusce; despising all forms of wickedness and upholding righteousness. Pray against the influx of illegal foreigners. Pray that the security along the marime border be-
tween Sabah and our neighbouring countries will be strengthened and for wise soluons to these problemac and complicated issues.
Tuesday 28 August Malaysia: Pray that He will deliver our naon from the powers of darkness and forces of evil. Pray
against the spirit behind those who exploit religion in order to create public disorder and to promote religious extremism.
Pray for jusce for those who are unlawfully persecuted for their faith (2 Cor. 1:9-11). Wednesday 29 August Malaysia: Pray for those who take the liberang love of Christ into prisons throughout the naon.
Ask God to bless those prisoners who have trusted Christ, but must remain behind bars. Pray for their safety and tesmony to other prisoners.
Church: Parents: Ask God to protect our parents from the evil ones (2 Thess. 3:3). Pray that wisdom, discreon and understanding protect and guide them every day (Prov. 4:6; 2:11; 138:7).

the race set before them. Church: Pray for revival and spiritual awakening in the body of Christ. Pray for believers to be deeply
rooted in His Word and prayer. Pray that they will be filled with His compassion for their neighbours and friends.
Friday 31 August Malaysia: As we celebrate our Independence Day, let’s thank God for His many blessings upon our
naon. Declare our dependence on Him for He has promised that if we humble ourselves and pray, seek His
face and turn from our wicked ways, He will hear from Heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land (2 Chron. 7:14)
Saturday 1 September Sunday Service: Ask God to pour His oil of anoinng upon our pastors and preachers as they wait on
Him (Ps. 19:14). Pray that all worshipers will allow Him to speak to us and mold us so that we can be vessels fit for His use. Uphold all worship enablers. Ask Him to work through them to serve and draw others to Him.
Remember by name those who are sick, grieving, and lonely. Pray also for those who are going through a difficult me, have wandered away from Christ and who have le the faith. Pray that God will send someone to walk alongside them to encourage and to point them back to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of faith (Heb. 12:2).
