Holly Filius is a Partner of Russell, Krafft & Gruber, LLP. She joined the firm in 1998after serving as a Law Clerk to Commissioner Harold B. Fergus, Jr. of the WorkersCompensation Appeal Board and as Judicial Clerk to the Honorable Michael J. Brillhart ofthe Court of Common Pleas of York County.

A significant portion of Holly’s legal practice involves helping families and individuals in allmatters of Family Law. She understands the emotional strain that difficult family issuescan cause her clients and their families and strives to alleviate these issues by aggressivelyadvocating for her clients to secure the best results possible.

Holly understands the importance of taking the time to help clients thoroughly understandtheir rights and options and explains what should be expected throughout the legal processwhile developing a strategy to best meet her client's goals. Her extensive family lawexperience includes complex litigation for clients with significant assets, high income andbusiness interests.

Holly has extensive experience assisting individuals and families throughout the adoptionprocess, representing clients in agency adoptions, international adoptions and privateadoptions. She works closely with county agencies and private agencies to finalize adoptionproceedings and also represents clients in contested adoption matters. Holly recognizes theemotional toll contested proceedings can cause for adoptive families and is passionate about resolving the matter in her client'sfavor. Her thorough investigation, preparation and courtroom presentation in these matters has resulted in many successfuladoptions that were originally highly contested.

In addition to her work in Family Law, Holly advises clients on Estate Planning and Estate Administration. Many clients seek herguidance when they begin to think about protecting their children’s interests or as their personal circumstances change. She alsoworks with individuals and families to probate and administer estates.

Holly currently serves on the Board of Directors of the S. June Smith Center Foundation. She is active in numerous communityand professional groups, has served on the Board of Directors of The Pennsylvania State Foster Parent Association and as amember of the Women in Business Committee of the Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She resides in WestLampeter Township with her husband, John, and their two children.
