November Pastoral Council Update The Holy Trinity Pastoral Council met on November 3. Chris Fowler provided an update on our 2016 Family Festival, including the need for identifying committee chairs for multiple committees. This is a wonderful opportunity to provide valuable service to the parish. We also received an update from Linda Cooper on the Evangelization Committee. This new committee is working on developing ideas for reaching out to visitors and parishioners. The remainder of the meeting focused on further discussion of our initiative to foster more Stewardship in our parish. Our approach to Stewardship is not centered on inancial support, but rather emphasizes how we can be better stewards of God’s gifts, including time and talent, and how we can foster vocations and increase our prayer life. If you have any ideas, please drop a note in the Pastoral Council suggestion box in the church foyer, or contact one of our Council members. We will hold our next Council meeting on December 1 at 6:30pm.
