AND FALL FESTIVAL OLMC PRESENTS Hostedby OLMC Home and School All OLMC Catholic School families are invited to attend the 2nd annual… Event: Trunk-or-Treat and Fall Festival Date: Saturday, Oct. 26, 2018 Time: 3:00pm—5:00pm Place: Designated areas of the OLMC Catholic School Playground All OLMC School families are invited to Trunk or Treat. This is a safe, community event where children may collect candy from the trunks of creatively decorated cars. This event will also feature biblically-centered cars and food trucks to purchase snacks and dinner. PARENTS: TO MAKE THIS EVENT POSSIBLE WE NEED YOUR HELP! •CANDY DRIVE: Please donate candy October 1st - 18th, class with the most candy wins an ice cream party! Full class participation will earn a jeans day on (Tuesday, October 29th) • TRUNK PARTICIPATION: Please consider signing up your car as a trunk, rules and registration forms available in the office and in the weekly newsletter. Family-Friendly Costume Guidelines: -All children who will participate in the Trunk or Treat event may dress as their favorite “Good Guy/Girl” character (i.e. Super Hero, Jedi Knight, Disney Princess, Sports Team Figure), Animal, Saint, Angel or Religious Figure. -Costumes must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive, offensive, objectionable or violent. -Costumes may not contain any weapons. For safety: We are asking that parents/adults not wear masks that cover the entire face. Adults must be recognized by other adults. No outside food or drink may be brought into the event. Water stations will be set up through out the venue and food trucks will be on site for families to purchase dinner or snacks.

Trunk Decoration GuidelinesThis is your opportunity to decorate your vehicle for Trunk or Treat fun! Be creativeas you decorate, but please be sensitive to the age range of our students as well asour Catholic values, do not make your trunk frightening or gory. Trunk decorations can be simple or elaborate. It’s up to you •Trunk decorations must be family-friendly and may not be obstructive,offensive, objectionable or violent. •Trunk decorations may not contain any weapons. If decorating a vehicle, pleaserealize that there will be no electricity so please keep that in mind when decoratingyour trunk. How it Works:Vehicles will be admitted to the playground staring at 1:00pm on Saturday,October 26th to set up. Trunk or Treaters will be allowed to enter at 3:00pm.A parent must be with their vehicle at all times during Trunk or Treat timefrom 3:00pm to 5:00pm. A parent or guardian must also be with their child whileTrunk or Treating. For safety, children who are not members of your family, shouldnot enter your vehicle during the event. If a child is lost, hurt or in need of help,please contact the nearest staff member so they can assist the child. Directions:Each vehicle participating will need to have a completed registration form toparticipate. After completing the forms, kindly return to the School Office byOctober 21, 2019. You will then receive confirmation prior to theevent.
