At a shred event fundraiser hosted by Nymeo on Nov. 14 at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium, the Frederick County Humane Society received more than $2,400 from the community in support of its Emergency Assistance Program. Nymeo matched the total donation amount bringing the total for the program to $4,800. The EAP provides emergency financial support to families whose pets require lifesaving (and often expensive) medical treatment. Nymeo is a long-standing supporter of the Humane Society, sponsoring many of their events such as Walk-n-Wag and Tails-on-Trails. Aside from helping children and the hungry, Nymeo also focuses on helping animals. All-Shred of Frederick provided the mobile document shredding service and shredded 11,000 pounds of paper.
