Jealousy Defined (1) “Resentment or discontent against a rival or against seeing another’s success or advantage”. (2) Feeling or showing unhappiness or anger because you think that someone you love (such as your husband or wife) likes or is liked by someone else

Jealousy is about the loss of something you already possess.
Envy is the desire for something the person does not possess.
Cain jealous of Able = Murder
Brothers of Joseph = Sold as a slave
Religious leaders jealous of Jesus = Crucified

1. Admit your jealous behavior2. Discuss with your spouse3. Be able to communicate with one another4. Don’t spy on your spouse5. Make a decision to change your behavior6. Realize you can’t control someone else7. Demonstrate your affection8. Non-jealous partner - don’t lie to your partner9. Seek professional help
