Look for these qualities in their work: organization, effort, elaboration, completeness, critical thinking, creativity.

Causes for Concern:A chaotic binder (or backpack) with papers sticking out, rumpled or ripped papers, or papers crammed in the front pocket (or bottom of bag) rather than in the rings.Unfinished assignments; assignments with simplistic answers; assignments that lack evidence of creativity, enthusiasm, or pride in his/her own work.Regularly needing more that 30 minutes to complete science homework.

Obtaining & Completing Work From Home Due to an Absence or Forgetfulness

Due to absence:

Work will be collected for your child in a Study Buddy folder. Complete work and return within 2 days of absence to receive full credit. Work returned after 2 days will only receive half credit.

Due to forgetfulness:

Work can be made up for half credit if done thoroughly and accurately.
