How to Make New Summer Rec ID Badges with

New Graphics

Purpose

To use the ID Works software to design/update ID Badges for the Summer Rec Program.

Procedure

Open the ID Works Std. Designer program.

Log in using username and password listed on the Summer Rec laptop.

Select previous project (1), then click ‘Open selected project’ (2).

Right click inside the front of the card (1), and then select ‘Card properties’ (2) .

Click on the tab ‘Background’ (1), then under ‘Use this file:’, select ‘Browse…’ (2).

One you select the correct background image, click ‘Apply’ (3), and click ‘Ok’ (4).

To get rid of any unwanted fields, left click the field so that there it is selected,

then delete it using Delete on the keyboard.

Once you have the picture, you can drag it around (1) and use the handles to

resize it (2).

Once your card look ok, then to ‘File’ (1), ‘Save Project As…’ (2), rename project

(3), then click ‘Ok’ (4).

After the project is finished and saved, open ‘ID Works Std. Production’ (1), and

log in using the same credentials from before (2).

Once you log in, select the 2017 Rec Program project (1) and click ‘Open selected

project’ (2).

Now you have the card open and ready for continuing on to the usage Tech tip.
