How to Register External Students and Adults

How to fill out your registration form step-by-step

Login through the TDSB Continuing Education Credit Programs website at www.creditprograms.ca and select the program you wish to register for.

Registration using a cell phone can be problematic. A tablet or laptop or desktop is recommended. When completing the registration form, if you encounter a problem while using Google Chrome, try using a different web browser such as Firefox, Bing or Internet Explore and try again.

Please note that Google Chrome is not compatible with the registration system. Select a different browser (Firefox, Bing or Internet Explore). Registration using a cell phone can also be problematic. A tablet or laptop or desktop would be the best source of device. If you are a new user, Go to “How to Register.”

Scroll down to Non-TDSB Students and Adults.

Click on the Registration Form link.

Fill out Section 1: Student Information

Important: You must register using your name as it appears on your transcript and legal documents.

Night School only requires your OEN (Ontario Education Number) if you attended school in Ontario after 2004. Adults new to Ontario and adults who attended school in Ontario prior to 2004 do not have an OEN (Ontario Education Number). Please skip the OEN field.

Section 2: Student Address - Make sure to Confirm Address before proceeding to Section 3

Section 3: Academic Information

If you are enrolled in an Ontario School and you click “Yes,” Select your day school, if your school is not listed select “Other.”

Section 4: Registration Completion

Select Radio button to the corresponding message.

Check mark the “I declare box.”

Type the code you see in the image > Click on Create Account.

Your eReg account has been successfully created. Your e-Reg account is valid for both e-Credit and Continuing Education. Important: The following instructions are the next steps to access the eReg system.

Once you have completed the registration you will receive an email as per below sample. Important: In order for your account to be active, Click on Proceed to complete your registration to setup your eReg account.

Enter the following details for Step 1 & 2, Check the *Signature of Student and Save. Pay close attention to *Note: regarding Password criteria

Authentication Required: Confirm your identity by authenticating with your Postal Code. Click Authenticate.

Click on GO to Continuing Education Login. Note: ELearing and Continuing Education are two different departments.

Request a course: Fill in all required fields, click login. If needed, follow the instructions to Retrieve User ID or Forgot Password.

Click Continue

Select Session: Using the drop down, select the program session and click Request a Course for the course list.

Check mark the course(s) request and click on Submit Request.

Click on Confirm Request(s)

Verify your email address and click Save and Continue. Please ensure that you type your email as the same way that it appears on your registration form.

Once you completed and submitted your course request you will receive an email with further details. Check your inbox/junk mail. The initial course request that you submit online is a registration request. You are not officially registered into a course until you submit/upload the necessary required documents.

Please follow the steps outlined. You are not enrolled yet!

Once you have requested a course, you will receive an email (sample email below). Check your email/junk box. Day school students are required to provide signed permission from your day school guidance counsellor to enrol. If you are under 18, you are required to provide signed permission from your parent(s) or guardian. Attached to the email sent to you is the Parent/Guardian Consent Form. Download the attached form and have the applicable sections signed and submit with your proof of prerequisites. Acceptable documents include transcripts, report cards, credit counselling summary or a mid-term report. We do not accept myBlueprint or Completion of Requirements for Graduation. Continuing Education does not provide Transcripts. To obtain your transcript, please connect with the school board Transcript Office that you attended.

If a student requires accommodation, please indicate in the Special Education Needs box. Click Save Changes

Uploading documents

Click on My Profile; scroll to Support Documents.

1. Click on Upload File 2. Click on “Choose File,” and select the corresponding file you saved on your device. 3. Click on the upload button. 4. Click “Save Changes”

Student under 18, upload your signed Parent/Guardian Consent Form along with your educational documents. Acceptable documents include transcripts, report cards, credit counselling summaries or a mid-term report. We do not accept myBlueprint, Provincial Report Card or Completion of Requirements for Graduation it does not show the prerequisite.

Once your course request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an email from Continuing Education regarding your enrollment. Example email below.

Prior to the program start date, additional information will be provided to you via email.
