Recloser
Smaller, lighter self contained circuit breakers
Designed to interrupt both load and fault current.
Reclose after fault to attempt immediate restoration of load.

Pulse Closer
Similar to recloser
Designed to interrupt both load and fault current.
Difference is quick reclose, short duration, low energy.

Often used as DA device for open tie points

Motorized Air Break
Similar to enclosed switch except– External Sensors– External Motor
Cannot be counted on to operate between reclosing shots
Used as DA device for normal open tie points
