Reporting and Supervisory Responsibilities This classification may train and guide hourly and/or student staff. Typical Functions 1. Performs office duties, including answering phones, directing calls to appropriate parties, data entry, filing, appointment scheduling, and other general duties as assigned. 2. Provides administrative support, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings/conferences, and maintaining/ordering office supplies. 3. Greets and directs visitors. 4. Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail. 5. Composes and word-processes various standard documents and correspondence. 6. Arranges maintenance of office equipment. 7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Skilled with computers and related software. 2. Skilled with basic office equipment, including printers, copiers, and telephone systems. 3. Good organizational skills. 1

JOB DESCRIPTION

Employees work indoors and are protected from weather and/or contaminants, but not, necessarily, occasional temperature changes. The employee is regularly required to sit and often uses repetitive hand motions. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and may lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
