Your Co-op assignment is with our Bodyweld Department for the Spring term and will commence on January 21, 2008. This letter and any related documentation is not intended to create a contract of employment for any specific time period. In accordance with the policies of TMMK, you will be an at will employee. As such, both you and TMMK would retain the right to sever your assignment at any time for any reason. COMPENSATION Based on current information, your confidential hourly rate of pay is $21.00. You are eligible to receive relocation and Housing Allowance benefits. We will need to verify your current classification status as a full-time matriculated student and your current GPA with an official transcript from your university no later than your first day of employment to verify pay rate. Pay rate information is highly confidential and sharing of information is grounds for termination. AGREEMENTS Enclosed for your review is a Confidentiality Agreement. All agreements are a prerequisite of employment with Toyota and are effective on your first day of employment. ORIENTATION Orientation will be on your start date. You should report to the main building/lobby and let the receptionist know you are there for orientation. Orientation will begin promptly at 8:30AM. Dress for orientation is business casual, no jeans or shorts. By requirement of the US Department of Immigration, you must provide original documentation to verify your identity and authorization to work in the United States. Enclosed is an 1-9 Form with a "List of Acceptable Documents ". Please bring to orientation one document from List A; OR two documents, one from List B and one from List C. We are excited to provide you with this assignment for a new and challenging experience! Your success here will be measured by the total contribution you make to your group, the co-op program, the quality of your work, your positive attitude and your ability to work with a team. After successful completion of each work rotation, co-op assignments will be evaluated and determined for returning assignments.
