• …wrote a book that was one of Ms. Lanette’s favorites when she became a librarian. It was called “Henry and the Red Stripes! It is out of print. Did you know that books that books can be “endangered” and even become “extinct?”

• …got books as presents for everything-even being sick? As a kid, she cataloged them all and made her own library! She would check them out to her friends and even charge fines if they were late!

• …still has a file cabinet of ideas for books just waiting for her to find a beginning, middle and end and bring them alive in 32 pages. Did you know how many pages pictures book had?
