IDEA StatiCa Connection

It is necessary to install XML templates before you start. For that you have to start our template installer and select your version of Scia Engineer. This

operation is needed only first time.

IDEA StatiCa Connection

Scia Engineer project is created and calculated. So you can start with export of XML files. First it is necessary to select a IDEA template and

create a XML Input/Output Document.

Once a XML I/O Document is created you can export XML file.

When XML file is prepared you can import that into IDEA StatiCa

Scia Enginner project is imported.

IDEA StatiCa BIM is launched automatically. You can see the same structure as in Scia Engineer.

Now you can select joints to design.

And start design of joints in IDEA StatiCa Connection.

IDEA StatiCa Connection is started. Geometry, profiles and loads are imported. Now you can finish design of the joint.
