Imagery
An image is language that describes something that can be seen, heard, touched, tasted, or smelled.
Imagery is used in literature to evoke a picture or a concrete sensation of a person, a thing, a place, or an experience.
Sensory Detail : are ways of describing things using the 5 senses.
Sound
Although they could not see outside the cabin, they could hear the eerie tapping, tapping, tapping, of his knife upon their door.
