It can forming citizens. The reduction of superstition and pseudoscience could be achieved, both with the democratization of scientific knowledge, and with greater accessibility to its contents. INTRODUCTION AIMS Podcast and blog were created and published with the aim of bringing scientific knowledge to professionals and academics in the biomedical field addressing the immune constituents present in human breast milk. Thus, it sought to create a service to promote the democratization of knowledge, adapting the language of science, often complex, and thus to promote a service related to the disclosure of the importance of human milk in the induction and immune system maintenance. EI03 Nursing and journalism graduation students at the Federal University of Uberlandia (part of an extension project) were responsible for the production of podcasts and blog posts. Were selected abstracts of scientific articles in English published recently. The abstracts were translated and adapted into Portuguese. Texts related to the audio have been available in each blog post. Different adjustments on the texts and audio archives were used to facilitate comprehension of the listener: • Paper abstracts published regarding the theme were selected, translated and adapted. There was an interaction of the whole group, and each abstract selected was evaluated according to their importance, the degree of difficulty of the subject and its usefulness for readers. • Aiming to facilitate communication and interaction between project members, the documents were worked in the Word program using the tool "track changes". •The podcasts are hosted on the SoundCloud (Figure 1) and the ImunoCast blog (Figure 2), allowing listeners to choose the form of access. It may be noted in the player, as well as track time, options to download and share the file. • The name "ImunoCast" was chosen in order to designate Immunology - related to human breast milk - and Podcast, referring to the digital audio file published on the internet for individual demand, representing the way the audio archives and texts would be disclosed. • The selection of the name "A ciência diz" was aimed facilitate the comprehension of scientific content. • A graphic design resembling an antibody with headphones was created aimed to the identity of both, podcast and blog. •In order to characterize the project and create a visual identity, a logo was developed. The intention was to unite elements of both the Immunology as of Journalism, and was then thought to embody the Y - symbol of the antibody - associating it with the headset, which would link to the podcast (digital audio file), representing listeners. The green color was defined as a prominent element of art, for its approach to health. The logo was developed with CorelDraw applications. The texts selected undergone several changes to make it more accessible to readers. Numerous changes were made as adaptations in translations which decreased the degree of complexity of the case; restructuring formatting, providing more fluidity in reading, changes in tone of voice and pronunciation of certain words, emphasizing passages were also needed. Additionally, there is the original citation from each scientific article adapted to facilitate the reader to find it. • Abbreviations and acronyms in immunology were, as far as possible, replaced by their meanings. • All numerical data in the texts were removed, but their information was interpreted and maintained. • The texts were written respecting the new rules of grammar of the Portuguese language and bibliographical references. • It was created the favicon, resource provided by Blogger. It is an image that can be displayed by the browser, just so the blog is accessed. Besides the blog in order to approach the reader/listener, was also created the fanpage on Facebook - social networking widely used - which proved crucial in the process of dissemination of the episodes and the ImunoCast project itself. • On Facebook are disclosed every episode posted on the blog, with an illustrative image - usually babies and breastfeeding - to encourage access to the post, and a short text that summarizes the subject of the episode being released. It is also posted on fanpage, news and interesting information related to breastfeeding, immunology and health. The journalism team members were important not only in editing the podcast and blog, but also for regulating the copyright of all content published, the creation the logos, the favicon and the fanpage on Facebook, mechanisms that facilitated the project dissemination.
