Our philosophy is simple and effective:Comfortable protection for people isalways the prime goal, and optimal safetyis the highest priority at MSA. But thecomfort of a respirator is at least equallyimportant because if your respirator isuncomfortable you cannot concentratefully on your work, and that endangersyour safety.

But the right type of respiratory protectiondepends on the particular situation. Ifthere are hazards that also irritate orharm the eyes, you need a mask whichcovers your entire face and thus protectsboth respiratory tract and eyes.

Depending on the application andindividual head size, everybody has his or her own requirements when it comesto respiratory protective equipment. Inorder to meet every requirement, theAdvantage 3000 comes in two versions,each with three different sizes. TheAdvantage 3000 is available for single ortwin filters, which means that both theclassic filter with EN 148 standard threador the Advantage filter series can be used.

The Advantage 3000 is incredibly quick toput on and simple to handle. Holding themask with one finger, you put your chininto the chin stop and pull the harnessover your head. Then you tighten the twolower straps. If necessary, you can adjustthe upper side straps before putting onthe mask. This makes it quicker andsimpler, without any painful hair pulling.Even men with beards can benefit of abetter protection with the Advantage3000 because the new patentedAdvantage head harness guarantees aperfect facepiece-to-face fit.

Apart from functional efficiency we havealso paid special attention to appearance.The narrow design is one feature. A large,optically corrected eye glass ensures clear,undistorted vision, while the grey-bluecolour gives the mask an aestheticappearance.

As we said, the MSA Advantage 3000 isavailable in different versions and sizes.To simplify your choice of the right model,we have assigned each model 4-digits:

The first digit “3” identifies the 3000 series.The second digit stands for the numberof filters (1 for EN 148, 2 for bayonet).The third digit indicates the size (1 = small, 2 = medium, 3 = large).The fourth digit identifies the head harness (1 for Advantage harness). Likethe Advantage 200, the Advantage 3000can be fitted with the latest in filtertechnology.

MSA has improved the Advantage 200respirator even further. The result is the high-performance, economic and easy to handleAdvantage 200 LS respirator.

Working with production materials andhandling chemical products requires the useof respiratory protective equipment. For thisreason optimal respiratory protection for themany different hazardous substances isessential.This applies to emergency situationsas well as to precautionary measures atwork or in situations where health-endangering gases or substances arereleased.

The ”feel good factor“ is also essential. If your mask does not fit exactly, not only thequality of your work suffers, but safety isalso endangered.

MSA makes a mask that surpasses allprevious comfort criteria. Our Advantage200 LS with its filter technology meets everyrequirement of modern respiratoryprotection. The respirator is extremely safe,exceptionally comfortable and incorporatesthe latest technology. Furthermore, it ischaracterised by light weight, minimumbreathing resistance and uncomplicatedhandling. Especially the modified nose areaand amply dimensioned chin and cheeksections ensure a comfortable and pressure-free fit.

The Advantage 200 LS protects againstdirt, dust and hazardous gases. The maskis suitable for every area of use, whetherin industry, craft trades or DIY. With itsexcellent facepiece-to-face fit, it providesmaximum protection and offers greatlyimproved wearing comfort.

The Advantage 200 LS consists of the facesection, a 4-point yoke, the inhalation andexhalation valve and the head harness. Inaddition, it is fitted with various particle,gas and combined filters.

MSA's engineers have developed theunique facepiece-to-face Anthrocurve,which fits the user's face contourswithout any problem. This means evengreater safety plus a faultless fit. Therespirator is available in three differentsizes.

As a result of continual productimprovement, the Advantage 200 LS isextremely comfortable thanks to itsflexibility, light weight and 4-pointharness. The ingenious Multiflex systemis unique in the market. The plasticcomponents are embedded in a softmaterial, thus making the face sectionelastic and robust.

For storage and transport of the mask,the Advantage belt pouch provides aperfect solution.

MSA TabTec® and FLEXIfilterSimple and Effective – Pure Air[ ]

TabTec® from MSA is a revolutionary filtertechnology – compact, flexible andenvironment friendly.

Traditional filters use carbon granules in afilter housing. TabTec® uses a carbontablet – hence the name TabletTechnology.The performance of the filter is as high asever, but now the filter is more flexibleand compact because weight, volume andenvironmentally harmful materials havebeen reduced to a minimum. The new Tab Technology is simple and effective.It eliminates the need for a filter housingthus permitting a compact and light-weight design.

The TabTec® Advantage Filter is availableas A1, A2, A2B2E1 and A2B2E1K1, and is approved according to EN 141. With anadapter, combination filters are alsopossible, either with P2 or P3 FLEXIfilter.

Gas filters against toxic or odourlessgases must be replaced after a single use.The end of the service life of particlefilters becomes apparent when breathingresistance increases.

The FLEXIfilter is a highly innovativeparticle filter. With its flat design, hardlynoticeable breathing resistance and lightweight, it offers unsurpassed comfort.

The FLEXIfilter is approved for protectionagainst dust according to EN 143. It isavailable in the filter classes P2, P3, P2 ORand P3 OR (Odour Removal). The filtermaterial is assembled according to classand performance. To eliminate unpleasantodours, thin layers of charcoal materialare added. These versions are tested for 5 times the ozone threshold limit valuefor 8 hours.

The FLEXIfilter is suitable for applicationswhere particle aerosols and odours occur.Since the filters fit well under a welder'shood, they are used by many welders.

The service life of respiratory filtersdepends on the ambient atmosphere, theuser and the conditions of use. Gas filtersmust be replaced at the latest whenodour, taste or irritation is detected.

The Advantage Container is designed forthe new Advantage 3000 full face maskseries, but can also be used with ALL masksin the MSA range. It provides new, uniquefeatures: a special recess and a wall bracket(also supplied) allow the container to behung on the wall, ready to go. The insideof the container is equipped with a slide,into which an EN 148 threaded filter withits plastic cap can be inserted. The coverhas two lugs, to which Advantagebayonet-type filters can be attached,secured by a velcro strap.
